About this remedy
Multiple randomized controlled trials show honey is more effective than over-the-counter cough suppressants (including dextromethorphan) for reducing nighttime cough frequency and severity in children. The WHO recommends honey as a first-line treatment for cough in children over 1 year of age.
Preparation
