About this remedy
Tart cherry juice has strong evidence for reducing exercise-induced muscle damage, pain, and inflammation. A meta-analysis of 10 studies found it significantly reduces markers of muscle damage (CRP, creatine kinase) and accelerates strength recovery. Its anthocyanins inhibit COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes similarly to NSAIDs like ibuprofen.
Preparation
