About this remedy
Goji berries contain the highest concentration of zeaxanthin among common foods, a carotenoid critical for macular health. A randomized trial found daily goji berry consumption significantly increased plasma zeaxanthin levels and protected against macular pigment loss. Zeaxanthin filters harmful blue light and reduces oxidative stress in the retina.

Steep 1 tablespoon dried goji berries in hot water for 10 minutes, or add to green tea. Eat the softened berries after drinking. For a smoothie, blend goji berries with blueberries, spinach, and carrot juice.
