About this remedy
Holy basil (Tulsi) is an adaptogen that may help regulate cortisol and support the HPA axis during hormonal fluctuations. A randomized controlled trial found holy basil significantly reduced stress symptoms, sexual problems, and sleep issues. Its eugenol content also provides mild anti-inflammatory benefits.
Preparation
Steep 1-2 tsp dried tulsi leaves or 4-5 fresh leaves in hot water for 5-7 minutes. Add ashwagandha powder for enhanced adaptogenic support. Sweeten with honey if desired.
