About this remedy

Beyond cognitive benefits, lion's mane has been traditionally used for digestive health. Research shows it may protect the stomach lining, reduce inflammation in the digestive tract, and support the gut microbiome. It contains compounds that may help with gastritis and inflammatory bowel conditions.

Preparation

Take 1-2 tsp lion's mane powder in warm water or chamomile tea 20 minutes before meals. Add a small amount of honey for taste and additional stomach-soothing benefits.

Dosage

1-3 g daily, divided into 2-3 doses before meals. Use consistently for 4-8 weeks for gut healing.

Cautions

Generally well-tolerated for digestive use. Some may experience mild changes in bowel movements initially. Consult a doctor if you have gastric ulcers or are on stomach acid medications.
